Hello!
Thanks for stopping in for a visit. It has been such a wonderful experience to meet so many great people through my art work - some who have even become like family to me. Painting has been my passion for close to 30 years. In the seventies a wonderful artist stepped into my life and helped me to develop a hidden talent that opened up a whole new world for me. It is so awesome to be able to work at something you love and I love my job. Even though we may never meet in person it is so nice to make new friends.
God has blessed me so much in my life. I have so much to be grateful for. First and foremost, my Lord and Savior and my family. I have the greatest husband in the world, Darrell, and I have been married 37 years and have two wonderful children and two beautiful granddaughters. Family is so important to me. I myself come from a family of 7 children. We all live in the same community and see each other almost daily. We live in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.
Darrell is now retired and works with me full time. I have been in the craft (painting business) for over 28 years and owned and operated a retail craft business for 12 years. Being in the craft business I have done a little bit of most crafts but decorative painting is my love. I have worked both the retail and wholesale industries working major craft fairs up and down the east coast. We now have cut back and only work the Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. held two times each year, our Ebay business and paint for Tamarack which is the best of West Virginia artisans.
Darrell operates our wood shop and is an excellent woodworker. Along with the items he creates I also enjoy turning what I call "junk" into works of art. It is so amazing how people react when they visit the show area and see what we have done with the items they have disposed of or have in their attic.
Our time with family is so important to us. Both our children and family live in Tennessee. We spend our down time visiting with them and enjoying our grandchildren. One is 13 years old and the other is 18 months. We also enjoy 4-wheeling in our beautiful mountains. A day spent in the mountains with friends is a little bit of heaven.
I would love to hear from you any time. Just drop me a line and introduce yourself and if you are looking for something special just let me know and we will try our best to accommodate you. I hope you have a blessed day.
